The expanded and improved David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety – WV STEPS – will welcome visitors to an open house from 2:30-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The center is located on the third floor of Health Sciences South.
The West Virginia University School of Nursing’s Sigma Theta Tau – Alpha Rho honorary took home its first-ever Chapter Key Award during Sigma Theta Tau International’s 43rd Biennial Convention in Las Vegas earlier this month. Alpha Rho was honored with a Chapter Key Awards which honor chapters that excel in membership recruitment/retention; publicity and programming; professional and leadership development; and local, national and international collaboration.

This holiday season, the WVU Health Sciences Center community is stepping up to make sure WVU’s student food pantry, The Rack, is stocked and ready heading into the cold months. The goal is to collect at least 2,015 non-perishable food items between Monday, Nov. 16, and the end of Fall Semester.
