WVU School of Nursing recognizes Dr. P. Joy Maramba for 28 years of service
Dr. P. Joy Maramba, DNP, RN, CNE, a nursing educator for nearly three decades, got her first taste of teaching earlier in her career than most.
Nursing students across all our campus locations have the opportunity to practice their skills and grow their confidence in simulation settings by working with classmates, manikins or standardized patients (who serve as actors) before working with real-life patients in the field.
The WVU School of Nursing offers accredited undergraduate and graduate level programs on five campuses and online.
The focus of West Virginia University School of Nursing's research is reducing health disparities among rural Appalachians. It is through this ongoing work with adults, families, and communities that WVU's nurse researchers are positively impacting the health of West Virginians.
