WVU School of Nursing welcomes faculty and student projects during Research Week 2023
The research display including 21 research manuscripts from 48 faculty members; 16 scholarship papers, including book chapters, education and clinical articles from 40 faculty members; and 14 abstracts for presentations, both oral and posters, from 40 faculty members. Additionally, 24 students were involved across these projects.

West Virginia University will offer additional financial assistance to incoming first-time freshmen with the launch of the WVU Pledge, a last-dollar-in aid program for qualifying Promise Scholarship recipients, set to begin with the fall 2023 semester.

The WVU School of Nursing Beckley campus has a new ambassador. The school announced Kaitlyn Sizemore as the new ambassador to represent the campus. Originally from Shady Spring, Sizemore will represent the school at recruitment events and activities.
WVU Day of Giving sets new records for dollars raised, gifts received
Supporters of West Virginia University donated a record $18.1 million Wednesday (March 22) during the University’s sixth Day of Giving. More than 8,200 gifts were made during the 24-hour online fundraising event held across the University system, also a new record. The $18.1 million figure tops 2022’s WVU Day of Giving record of $15.5 million raised from just over 5,600 gifts.
