WVU doc student passionate about helping West Virginians combat skin cancer
For Amy Bruce, skin cancer is personal. In April 2013 she lost a friend, instructor and co-worker to skin cancer. “It was a terrible situation; she was young. She had a mole on her back, and by the time she had it looked at, it had already spread. It’s a deadly form of cancer that moves quickly. She left behind a family, including three small children.”
School of Nursing alumni celebration set for June 5-6
All alumni will be honored, and reunion classes recognized, Friday, June 5, at Touchdown Terrace at Milan Puskar Stadium. On Saturday, June 6, Dean Tara Hulsey will host a breakfast for classes 1964 through 1970 at Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa.
