WVU School of Nursing Keyser campus team growing

The West Virginia University School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the WVU Potomac State campus welcomed four new faculty to the program this year.  The team now includes (front row, left to right) Rachel Raschella, nursing program assistant; Heather Coddington, instructor; and Dr. Diana Niland, instructor. Back row, left to right: Dr. April Shapiro, nursing program chairperson; Matthew Hottle, instructor; Dr. Mary Beth McCloud, lecturer; and Linda Shroyer, instructor.

The WVU School of Nursing - Keyser campus admitted its first class of sophomores in the fall of 2018. Students follow the same curriculum and policies as BSN students on the Beckley and Morgantown campuses and have opportunities to learn in a smart classroom, practice skills and critical reasoning/judgment in state-of-the-art simulation labs, and gain hands-on experience in clinical facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, and community agencies.
