Several WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus students were recognized at the end of last semester during WVU Potomac State College's 8th Annual Recognition Day.
Jacob Logsdon was awarded the Outstanding Nursing Student 2024-2025 Award; this award is voted on by faculty and awarded to the senior student who best exemplifies the nursing pledge they took in Sophomore year.
Marilee Kitzmiller was awarded the 2024-2025 Service Above Self Award; this award is presented by the Keyser Rotary Club to a Potomac State College student who provides exemplary humanitarian service. Dr. April Shapiro, Keyser Campus Chair, nominated Marilee for the award, and Dinah Courrier from the Keyser Rotary Club presented the award.
Elizabeth Pryor and Olivia Barnes were awarded the 2024-2025 Human Anatomy and Physiology Scholar Award for their exemplary performance in the BIOL 230 and BIOL 231 courses. Presenting the award is Dr. Sheri Chisholm, their professor.
