Junior Nursing Academy paves path toward career in nursing for local student
As a student at Fayetteville High School, Cheyenne Wright had the opportunity to attend the Southern West Virginia Junior Nursing Academy, where she was able to learn real-life nursing skills and participate in hands-on experiences. When it was time to apply to college, her decision was clear: She chose the WVU School of Nursing Beckley Campus, located at WVU Tech, and is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
