The WVU School of Nursing is expanding its Faith Community Nursing program into seven counties in the Mid-Ohio Valley — Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood — thanks to generous funding from the Sisters Health Foundation.

Nurses in these counties can receive a full scholarship for the all-online, 8-week Faith Community Nursing program. The next course will begin Sept. 15, 2025.

Two teams of WVU School of Nursing faculty and staff recently participate in the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay to promote teamwork, health, and well-being. The marathon relay, held May 4 in downtown Pittsburgh, was divided into five legs of varying distances. Together, each team member in the relay contributed to running a full-length marathon.
