Colorectal Cancer Summit slated for June 14 and Aug. 30

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in West Virginia. Mountains of Hope, West Virginia’s statewide cancer coalition facilitated by the WVU Cancer Institute's Cancer Prevention and Control group, invites faculty and staff to join local and national experts to discuss ways to increase colorectal screenings in the state. 

Mountains of Hope is hosting two regional Colorectal Cancer Summits in West Virginia. The first event will be held on Wednesday, June 14, in Fairmont, and the second will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Beckley. 

Registration is free and open to anyone interested in this topic, including advocates, healthcare providers, navigators, and social workers.
