The WVU School of Nursing remembers Delaney Wykle, BSN, Class of 2019

On behalf of the WVU School of Nursing, I would like to send our sincerest sympathies to the Wykle family for the devastating loss of Delaney on July 4, 2019.  While Delaney spent a short part of her life with the School of Nursing, she had a big impact on our faculty, staff and her fellow students with her dedication to the nursing profession.

WVU School of Nursing receives 10-year accreditation

The West Virginia University School of Nursing today announced that its baccalaureate degree, master’s degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certificate programs have been granted accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for another 10 years.

WVU nursing students to host bone marrow drive

WVU School of Nursing Morgantown students are hosting a bone marrow drive Wednesday, March 20. Did you know: 1% of people in the registry are called to donate but most are only asked to donate blood products such as stem cells.

Kandzari Fund Sponsored Lecture:"Interprofessional lecture Conceptual and Methodological Issues in Outcomes and Effectiveness Research”

The WVU School of Nursing announces its Kandzari Fund Sponsored Lecture on November 8 featuring Ivo Abraham, PhD, RN, from the University of Arizona. Abraham is a a nurse by profession and an outcomes and effectiveness researcher by trade, a professor of pharmacy and medicine, and affiliated with the Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research, the Arizona Cancer Center, and the Center for Applied Genomics and Genetic Medicine.
