ATTENTION ALL STT - Members-

Please consider taking advantage of the opportuntiy to work on committe to plan a Research/Evidence Based Practice Conference this Fall.  This is event will be sponsored by the Alpha Rho Chapter.  It will be held on campus.  Your role could be as involved as you would like. We need people to help with all aspects of planning.  Please let me know ASAP if you are available to help.

      Alpha Rho Chapter was honored to be able to award 2 research grants this year.  Presentations went to Dr. Althea Rowlands, PhD, RN, CNOR,  for her research on Risk Factors Associated with Incorrect Surgical Counts Following Surgery, and Dr. Jennifer Mallow, PhD, FNP-BC, for her research on "Barriers to Attendance at Health Care Visits of Poor Uninsured Individuals with Diabetes at a Free Clinic."
      Alpha Rho Chapter is pleased to be able to offer financial support to these two Nurse Researchers as they advance the Knowledge of Nursing.  Applications for Sigma Theta Tau Alpha Rho Chapter research grants are accepted throughout the year and all STTI Alpha Rho Members are encouraged to apply.
